Iqra Abid, MSc Respiratory Medicine graduate and respiratory care professional at Sidra Medicine, has achieved international recognition with her publication in the Canadian Journal of Respiratory Therapy. Her research focuses on point-of-care lung ultrasound (LUS) for pneumonia diagnosis across age groups.
With over seven years of clinical experience, Iqra pioneered respiratory therapy advancement in Pakistan by establishing dedicated teams and initiating awareness programs. At Sidra Medicine, she works alongside professionals from 80+ nations, continuing to push boundaries in patient care and research.
The MSc programme's evidence-based practice module proved transformative for Iqra: "Learning how to navigate through vast amounts of information to discern best practices has been instrumental in enhancing the quality of care I provide to patients."
